A PETA undercover investigation into a Minnesota factory turkey farm revealed the farm manager viciously beating sick and injured birds with what he called his "killing stick." He did this because it is cheaper to kill sick birds than to give them proper veterinary care. This method of killing birds was deemed acceptable by the turkey industry.
