Meat and the Environment

What You Can Do

There is no such thing as a meat-eating environmentalist. The meat, dairy, and egg industries are poisoning and depleting our land, water, and air. Every time we eat animal products, we contribute to ecological devastation and the wasteful misuse of resources on a global scale.

You can do your part to stand up to the destructive meat industry by adopting a vegetarian diet. Taking the meat-free plunge has never been easier or more essential than it is today! Visit our VegCooking site for great recipes, tips, shopping lists, and more. Request your free vegetarian starter kit and we'll send it right to your door, along with a free DVD. You can also order free leaflets and download free posters to help you spread the word.

With so many great vegetarian options, eating green has never been more delicious. Whether you're doing it for the environment, your own health, or for the sake of animals, you have the power to change the world, simply by changing what's on your plate.
